Utah High School Basketball - Piute tops Valley
March 2, 2023: Orderville, UT 84758 Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Valley Buffalos (Orderville, UT), 53-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Piute upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Wendover (Wendover, UT) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 17-6. Wendover won 70-65 in their recent non-league bout against Manila (Manila, UT)
Next up, the Buffalos play the Manila Mustangs (Manila, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 3. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 20-5 record after their 70-65 non-league loss to Wendover (Wendover, UT).
