The Comets now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apex for a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. Clayton will face a Cougars team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
Next, the Hawks face the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 6. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
