The Lytle Pirates routed the host Marion Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 10-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Poth (Poth, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Poth was routed by Kaufer (Riviera, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, March 3. Marion will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Winn (Eagle Pass, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 7-5.
