Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Timberwolves now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Montgomery Central will face a Raiders squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Salisbury falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6.
