Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Half Moon Bay upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Cougars host Cupertino (Cupertino, CA) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 7. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 1-1.

With the defeat, Lincoln falls to 0-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Fightin' Irish in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5.
