March 2, 2024: Magdalena, NM 87825 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) and the visiting Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM), saw Magdalena's basketball squad wallop Cliff by a tally of 57-23.
With the victory, Magdalena improves its record to 27-1 on the campaign. The Steers host Maxwell (Maxwell, NM) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Maxwell lost 54-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Springer (Springer, NM)
Next up, the Cowboys/Cowgirls confront the Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 9. Cliff will attempt to improve on its 22-4 season record. The Eagle come into the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
