Alabama High School Softball - Holt bounces Pickens County
March 2, 2024: Holt, AL 35404 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Holt Ironmen (Holt, AL) and the visiting Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL), witnessed Holt's softball squad prevail over Pickens County by a count of 14-6.
The Ironmen now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sipsey Valley for a 4A Area 7 match on Tuesday, March 19. Holt will face a Bears squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Bears record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Pickens County moves to 1-4 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL) to face the Stampede in a non-league match on Monday, March 4. The Stampede go into the match with a record of 1-1. Paul W. Bryant won 11-10 in their recent non-league match against Holt (Holt, AL)
