Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) and the visiting San Ramon Valley Wolves (Danville, CA), saw Elk Grove's basketball squad hold off San Ramon Valley by a tally of 59-55.

With the victory, Elk Grove improves its record to 25-6 on the campaign. The Thundering Herd host Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 21-12. Vanden won 74-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA)
