In Friday's non-league outing, the Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) basketball squad edged the host Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT), by a margin of 51-45.

The Beavers (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, Rockville was tipped by Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT), 56-31, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Platt RVT for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 7. Abbott RVT will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 8-12.
