March 3, 2023: Costa Mesa, CA 92626 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Samueli Academy Firewolves (Santa Ana, CA) and the host Costa Mesa Mustangs (Costa Mesa, CA), saw Samueli Academy's volleyball squad beat Costa Mesa by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Samueli Academy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Firewolves travel to Magnolia (Anaheim, CA) to play the Sentinels in a non-league bout on Friday, March 10. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
The Mustangs now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Santiago for a non-league bout on Monday, March 6. Costa Mesa will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-2.
