Texas High School Softball - Independence knocked off by Keller Central
March 3, 2023: Frisco, TX 75035 In Friday's non-league contest, the Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), by a margin of 16-0.
With the triumph, Keller Central moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Chargers host Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to play the Buffalos in a 6A Region I District 4 contest on Tuesday, March 7. The Buffalos come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Haltom 1-1 in their recent non-league contest against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX)
In their next game, the Knights play the Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 contest, on Tuesday, March 7. Independence will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, TX).
