South Carolina High School Baseball - Georgetown loses to Blue Ridge
March 3, 2024: Georgetown, SC 29440 The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Georgetown Bulldogs to 4 in the Fighting Tigers non-league victory on Sunday.
The Fighting Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC). The Wildcats go into the 2A Region 1 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Blacksburg was overwhelmed by Union County (Union, SC), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Iron Horses go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Philip Simmons edged Andrews (Andrews, SC), 9-2, in a non-league match.
