The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Barstow Aztecs (Barstow, CA) and the host Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA), saw Barstow's baseball team gain a win over Academy for Academic Excellence by a tally of 6-1.

The Aztecs (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Silver Valley (Yermo, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Silver Valley was overwhelmed by Boron (Boron, CA), 29-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 6. Academy for Academic Excellence will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Scorpions enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 26-3 non-league win over Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA).
