March 3, 2025: Huntington Park, CA 90255 Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad notch a victory over the host Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA), 2-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Roosevelt improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rough Riders host Legacy (South Gate, CA) to encounter the Tigers in a battle on Wednesday, March 12. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Gladiators now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Pedro for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 5. Marquez will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Diego Rivera (Los Angeles, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.
