The University City Centurions baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars to 2 in the Centurions non-league win on Monday.

The Centurions now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Jolla Country Day for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. University City will play a Torreys team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Torreys record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Steele Canyon drops to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars host Madison (San Diego, CA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. The Warhawks go into the test with a record of 1-0. Madison won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against West Hills (Santee, CA)
