Georgia High School Lacrosse - Cherokee drops to River Ridge
March 3, 2025: Canton, GA 30114 River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA), 19-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, River Ridge improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Walker (Marietta, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, March 6. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 0-2. Walker lost 10-8 in their recent non-league game against Campbell (Smyrna, GA)
The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league game on Thursday, March 6. Cherokee will play a Chiefs team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-3.
