With the victory, Rowan County upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Raceland (Raceland, KY) to play the Rams in a District 63 challenge on Tuesday, March 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 10-6.

Next up, the Lions play the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 6. Boyd County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 55-48 league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY).
