Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Woodsboro Eagles (Woodsboro, TX), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Freer upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Buckaroos travel to West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, March 4. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-1. West Oso won 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX)
