Michigan High School Basketball - Brother Rice holds off Dakota
March 4, 2022: Macomb, MI 48044 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Brother Rice Warriors (Bloomfield Hills, MI) and the host Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), saw Brother Rice's basketball squad hold off Dakota by a tally of 69-67.
With the victory, Brother Rice improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Groves (Beverly Hills, MI) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 9. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Groves won 41-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 9. Dakota will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Tars come into the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, MI).
