Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Lamar Silver Foxes (Lamar, SC) and the visiting Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC), witnessed Lamar's softball squad tip Waccamaw by a count of 8-7.

The Silver Foxes now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Clarendon Hall for a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. Lamar will meet a Saints squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Thomas Heyward Academy (Ridgeland, SC). The Saints record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Waccamaw moves to 0-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Conway (Conway, SC) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 8. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 1-2. Conway lost 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Loris (Loris, SC)
