In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Poly Bears baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Rancho Verde Mustangs.

The Bears (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA). The Wildcats go into the Ivy game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Paloma Valley tipped Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
