March 4, 2023: Thomaston, GA 30286 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) and the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), saw Chestatee's soccer squad get by Upson-Lee by a count of 1-0.
The War Eagles now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they host East Forsyth for a 4A Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 7. Chestatee will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Broncos record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Upson-Lee drops to 3-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to meet the Trojans in a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 7. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-8. Peach County lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Jackson (Jackson, GA)
