March 4, 2023: San Marcos, CA 92069 The San Marcos Knights lacrosse team scored 9 points and limited the visiting La Jolla Country Day Torreys to 6 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Del Norte for a non-league test on Friday, March 10. San Marcos will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Torreys face the Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 7. La Jolla Country Day will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA).
