California High School Softball - Corona del Mar knocked off by El Dorado
March 4, 2023: Placentia, CA 92870 In Saturday's non-league contest, the El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA), by a margin of 19-0.
With the triumph, El Dorado moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Golden Hawks travel to El Modena (Orange, CA) to play the Vanguards in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 7. The Vanguards come into the contest with a record of 3-0. El Modena won 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Valencia (Placentia, CA)
In their next game, the Sea Kings play the Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) in a Sunset contest, on Monday, March 6. Corona del Mar will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Barons come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 13-0 league loss to Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA).
