Texas High School Softball - Liberty holds off Grand Oaks
March 4, 2023: Liberty, TX 77575 The Liberty Panthers the visiting Grand Oaks Grizzlies softball squad by a final score of 6-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Porter (Porter, TX). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Porter nudged Iowa Colony (Arcola, TX), 21-1, in a non-league battle.
The Grizzlies now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host The Woodlands for a 6A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, March 7. Grand Oaks will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 12-8 non-league win over Deer Park (Deer Park, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 10-9.
