The Helix Highlanders softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Mar Vista Mariners to 1 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Helix improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Westview (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 8. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 2-2. Westview lost 6-2 in their recent non-league game against San Pasqual (Escondido, CA)
