Texas High School Softball - Mansfield gets by Queen City
March 4, 2023: Mansfield, TX 76063 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX) and the visiting Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), witnessed Mansfield's softball squad tip Queen City by a count of 4-3.
The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Ridge for a 6A Region II District 11 match on Friday, March 10. Mansfield will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 19-0.
With the loss, Queen City moves to 11-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX) to face the Rabbits in a 3A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, March 7. The Rabbits go into the match with a record of 2-7. Atlanta lost 7-2 in their recent non-league match against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX)
