The New Braunfels Unicorns softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Southwest Dragons to 1 in the Unicorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, New Braunfels improves its record to 8-11 on the year. The Unicorns travel to Steele (Cibolo, TX) to clash with the Knights in a 6A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, March 7. The Knights come into the game with a record of 6-4. Steele won 18-11 in their recent non-league game against Ellison (Killeen, TX)

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 4. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 4-0 league win over Devine (Devine, TX).
