Alabama High School Softball - Pleasant Valley nudges Sylvania
March 4, 2023: Jacksonville, AL 36265 Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Corner for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. Pleasant Valley will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Gardendale (Gardendale, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Sylvania falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Etowah won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Cullman (Cullman, AL)
