Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wylie East for a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Thursday, March 9. Sachse will face a Raiders squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Temple falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bryan (Bryan, TX) to face the Vikings in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-9. Bryan won 20-5 in their recent non-league test against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX)
