The Snook Bluejays softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Yorktown Wildcats to 2 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Snook improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bluejays host Normangee (Normangee, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, March 7. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 1-11. Normangee lost 17-0 in their recent non-league game against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Three Rivers Bulldogs (Three Rivers, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 game, on Tuesday, March 7. Yorktown will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 16-2 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Moulton (Moulton, TX).
