Westlake Charter Explorers (Sacramento, CA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Forest Lake Christian Falcons (Auburn, CA), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Explorers face the Cristo Rey Saints (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 7. Westlake Charter will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over John Adams Academy (Roseville, CA).

The Falcons now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning for a CVCL challenge on Tuesday, March 5.
