In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Central Wildcats basketball team scored a close 68-62 triumph over the Parkway Panthers.

The Wildcats (29-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, East Ascension nipped Southside (Youngsville, LA), 61-42, in a non-league contest.
