Arkansas High School Basketball - Marion can't hold off Benton
March 4, 2025: Benton, AR 72015 Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Marion Patriots (Marion, AR), 44-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Benton advances its record to 18-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Farmington (Farmington, AR) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Friday, March 7. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 27-1. Farmington won 79-39 in their recent non-league match against Parkview (Little Rock, AR)
The Patriots now own a 20-11 record.
