North Carolina High School Soccer - Providence Day nudges Clover
March 4, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28270 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), saw Providence Day's soccer squad hold off Clover by a score of 1-0.
The Chargers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Furies enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Forsyth Country Day was edged by Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Blue Eagles confront the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 7. Clover will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC).
