March 4, 2025: Venus, TX 76084 Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX), 2-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Life Waxahachie moves its record to 22-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Ferris (Ferris, TX) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region 1 District 6 test on Friday, March 7. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 3-11. Ferris lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedale for a 4A Region 1 District 6 test on Friday, March 7. Venus will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Godley (Godley, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-5.
