Florida High School Baseball - Clewiston wallops Lake Placid
March 4, 2025: Clewiston, FL 33440 The Clewiston Tigers baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Lake Placid Dragons to 8 in the Tigers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaBelle for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. Clewiston will clash with a Cowboys/Cowgirls team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Cypress Lake (Fort Myers, FL). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Lake Placid drops to 1-5 on the year. The Dragons host Frostproof (Frostproof, FL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 3-3. Frostproof lost 10-3 in their recent non-league test against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL)
