In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Heide Trask Titans baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs.

The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Hobbton was overwhelmed by Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 9-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Monarchs play the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 6. Northside - Jacksonville will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Stallions go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 19-3 non-league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC).
