March 4, 2025: Shreveport, LA 71101 The Byrd Yellow Jackets lacrosse team (Shreveport, LA), was overwhelmed 19-3 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA)
With the victory, Loyola College Prep advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Flyers travel to St. Paul's (Covington, LA) to encounter the Wolves in a Division I -South battle on Friday, April 4. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 2-1.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkway for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. Byrd will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
