March 4, 2025: John's Island, SC 29455 The Hanahan Hawks soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host St. John's Islanders to 1 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Bishop England for a non-league bout on Friday, March 7. Hanahan will play a Battling Bishops squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, St. John's moves to 0-4 on the year. The Islanders host Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC) to play the Phoenix in a A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, March 11. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Palmetto Scholars Academy won 7-1 in their recent league bout against Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC)
