March 4, 2025: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 The Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA) soccer overwhelmed the host Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Hornets now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cedartown for a 4A Area 7 challenge on Friday, March 7. Hiram will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Mt. Zion moves to 3-3 on the year. The Eagles host Temple (Temple, GA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Temple lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against New Manchester (Douglasville, GA)
