In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Manatee Hurricanes (Bradenton, FL) baseball squad edged the host Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL), by a tally of 4-3.

Next up, the Hurricanes encounter the South Fort Myers Wolfpack (Fort Myers, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 6. Manatee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Wolfpack enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 2-2 non-league First Baptist Academy (Naples, FL).
