The Model Blue Devils baseball team (Rome, GA), was overwhelmed 4-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA)

The Wildcats now hold a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennesaw Mountain for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 6. Woodland will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a AA Region 7 outing, on Monday, March 8. Model will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Rebels go into the outing with a 3-5 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
