Texas High School Baseball - Lamar prevails Brenham
March 5, 2022: Brenham, TX 77833 Lamar Texans (Houston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lamar upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Texans travel to Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, March 11. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-4.
With the defeat, Brenham falls to 6-5 on the season. The Cubs host Paetow (Katy, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 5A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, March 8. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-2. Paetow won 11-3 in their recent non-league test against Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX)
