In Saturday's non-league contest, the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA), by a margin of 7-0.

With the triumph, Walnut moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Colony (Ontario, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 5. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 7-2. Colony lost 6-2 in their recent non-league contest against Northview (Covina, CA)
