The Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) volleyball overcame the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Thunder in a 6A Central outing on Wednesday, March 6. The Thunder go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Desert Vista lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ)

The Bears now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Alhambra for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 6. Basha will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 5-4.
