Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR), 9-6 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Viola for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7.

With the loss, Greenland falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to County Line (Branch, AR) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 6. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. County Line won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Westside (Coal Hill, AR)
