Texas High School Softball - Dawson bounces Porter
March 5, 2024: Pearland, TX 77581 Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Porter Spartans (Porter, TX), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearland for a 6A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, March 8. Dawson will battle a Oilers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX). The Oilers record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Porter falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Caldwell (Caldwell, TX) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. Caldwell won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Centerville (Centerville, TX)
