March 5, 2024: Magnolia, TX 77354 In Tuesday's league contest, the Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX), by a margin of 17-0.
With the triumph, Magnolia West moves its record to 14-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region III District 21 contest on Friday, March 8. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 17-5. Lake Creek won 11-4 in their recent league contest against Montgomery (Montgomery, TX)
In their next game, the Rangers play the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 contest, on Friday, March 8. Rudder will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Cubs come into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 12-1 league loss to A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX).
