March 5, 2024: Strawn, TX 76475 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX) and the visiting Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX), witnessed Strawn's softball squad prevail over Perrin-Whitt by a count of 18-3.
The Greyhounds now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Huckabay for a 1A Region II District 11 match on Friday, April 5.
With the loss, Perrin-Whitt moves to 0-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Chico (Chico, TX) to face the Dragons in a 2A Region II District 9 match on Friday, March 8. The Dragons go into the match with a record of 2-4. Chico lost 9-8 in their recent league match against Windthorst (Windthorst, TX)
